Choosing the perfect hotel laundry equipment Date: 30/01/2012
Running a successful hotel involves a great deal of hard work, and top of priorities will be ensuring that each and every customer who walks through the door gains an amazing fist impression- and that this impression remains throughout the duration of their stay.
A number of things can have a huge impact on how highly regarded a hotel is, and one area in which standards shouldn’t be allowed to slip under any circumstances is cleanliness.
Not only should your premises be absolutely spotless, but every single piece of linen which graces your hotel should be nothing less than pristine.
However, if you are using standard laundry equipment in your hotel, pristine looking linen could be something which you struggle to achieve- which is why it’s important to replace standard equipment with commercial laundry equipment.
Although it’s vitally important to replace ineffective hotel laundry equipment, before rushing into investments, think carefully about a few things including:
- The size of equipment
- The type of equipment you require
- How many units you require
- Your budget
Dedicating a few minutes to thinking about the above will help you immensely in choosing equipment which is perfect for your establishment.
Eliminate the guesswork Date: 19/01/2012
Commercial laundry equipment is no longer just a common sight in launderettes any more, and there are now many other types of establishments who use this equipment on a regular basis.
Universities, vets, hotels and restaurants are just a small selection of the other types of establishments which can benefit greatly from commercial laundry equipment (washing machines in particular), and one thing which the vast majority of these establishments have in common in the current climate is the need to ensure that operations are as cost-efficient as possible.
One way in which just about every establishment which uses commercial washing machines can increase cost-efficiency is by investing in auto dosing systems- they truly can make a difference.
When it’s not measured out correctly, detergent can all too easily be wastage- and over time this can really add up.
By investing in auto dosing systems though, the guesswork and wastage of detergent- and ultimately money- can be eliminated.
By eliminating the guesswork with auto dosing systems and not over-filling machines, spillages and blockages can also be reduced- which makes them a great modern investment.
Get your launderette customers through wintery weather Date: 12/01/2012
British winters are renowned for being incredibly long- sometimes it feels as though we’ll never see the start of spring.
Although this winter hasn’t been as bad as the previous two (although there is time yet), conditions have been a lot less than pleasant, and with so much rain and ice around, you could have seen an influx of launderette customers using the tumble dryers in your launderette.
When customers do pop into your launderette to use your tumble dryers (or any other commercial laundry equipment for that matter) you’ll want to ensure that their visit is as pleasant as possible, so why not treat them to some winter warmers?
Coffee and drinks machines can be purchased and hired at really affordable rates and will warm up customers when it’s cold outside and whilst they’re waiting for their spin to finish.
Replacing cold hard seats with comfy cushioned seating will also make a huge difference, and again will make waiting for laundry loads to finish all the more bearable.
Last but definitely not least, make sure that your commercial laundry equipment is up to scratch.
Big B&Bs need commercial laundry equipment Date: 03/01/2012
Some very small B&B’s can just about get away with using every day laundry equipment to wash all of those linen essentials, although those B&B’s which are on the larger and busier side could benefit from investing in a little something more- namely commercial laundry equipment.
Whilst you may pride yourself on running a modest B&B rather than an establishment to rival The Ritz, this doesn’t mean that you can afford to dismiss the importance of really high standards- after all, no B&B can afford to let visitor numbers or their reputation plummet.
In a hectic B&B, there is always likely to be heaps of laundry which needs washing thoroughly- especially if short term stays are on offer. In addition to this, high levels of cleanliness and hygiene need to be adhered to, and standard equipment could really struggle to provide this.
Therefore, commercial laundry equipment is an extremely important investment for big B&B’s. As well as investing in one or more commercial washing machines, commercial tumbler dryers will also prove a very useful investment as they could help to save money in running costs as well as time.
